As if the banner above was not enough to tell you, this is the home page of  Terry Canote. I am a freelance writer (though I don't get  paid for it very often) among other things. My age is inconsequential as I stopped counting at 22 (if Jack Benny can stop at 39, I can stop at 22).  But enough about me. Many home pages tell you a lot about the person who created them. Sometimes you even get a short biography, including pictures of their spouse, their kids, their home appliances,  ad nauseam.  I would like to be original and do a web page that's somewhat different from the rest--no pictures of  the wife and kids (not that there are any...yet), no high school reminiscences,  and none of my personal medical records. This suits me just fine, as I  happen to be a very private person and I don't particularly care for total strangers reading about my private life.  For those reasons you won't see my autobiography here nor any pictures of me other than the one  above.  My only significant other whose pictures you will see on this web site will be my late, great cat.
