First, I must thank Davo for kindly letting me use his jpegs of assorted All-Star Comics and Justice League of America covers. I must also thank Graeme Fitzgerald for the use of his jpeg of Leading Comics #3. I must also thank John Clark, who led me to Graeme! Without these guys this website would look pretty drab!
Second, I must thank my fellow members of the Justice Society of America Appreciation Association (where I am known by my Yahoo handle, drakesix). It was at the JSAAA that I was able to clarify various questions on JSA lore, as well as discuss my love for the Justice Society of America from its inception in the Golden Age to its current revival now. Very special thanks must go to JSA Jim for founding the organisation to begin with!
Third, I must thank Geoff Johns and Steve Sadowski for doing such a great job on the current JSA book. Not only are they two of the most talented men in the comic book industry, they are also two of the best and most gracious gentlemen with whom one could ever hope to chat.
Fourth, I must thank my fellow JSAAA member Zatarro who made a few suggestions that I feel improved my chapter on the Golden Age. Zatarro, you are a true scholar and a gentleman!
Finally, I must thank M. C. Gaines (owner of All-American Comics Inc. in the Golden Age), Sheldon Mayer (editor at All-Ameircan and creator of the Red Tornado), and Gardner Fox (legendary comic book writer), who created the Justice Society of America. Obviously without them, this website would not have been possible!
Many of these fine individuals have websites on my links page. If you truly enjoyed this website, by all means pay their websites a visit--I can guarantee you won't be disappointed!
